எங்கள் நோக்கம் எங்களின் இந்த ‘மயூரகிரி’ (Mayuragiri) இணையதளம் மற்றும் யூடியூப் சேனலானது, குன்றக்குடி மலையில் உறையும் சண்முகநாத பெருமானின் புகழை உலகெங்கும் பரப்புவதையே முக்கிய நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பெயர்க்காரணம் ‘மயூரம்’ என்றால் மயில்; ‘கிரி’ என்றால் மலை. மயிலையே மலையாகக் கொண்டு குன்றக்குடியில் சண்முகநாதர் எழுந்தருளியுள்ளார். வேலையும், மயிலையும் வணங்கினால் மயூரகிரிநாதனாம் குன்றக்குடி முருகப்பெருமானின் பரிபூரண அருள் கிடைக்கும் என்பது ஆன்றோர் வாக்கு.

Our Mission This website and channel have been created with the sole purpose of spreading the glory and fame of Lord Kunnakudi Shanmuganathar.

The Story Behind the Name The name ‘Mayuragiri’ holds a special significance. ‘Mayuram’ means Peacock, and ‘Giri’ means Mountain. Lord Shanmuganathar resides in Kunnakudi, seated upon a hill that is shaped like a peacock.

It is the belief of the wise that worshipping the Holy Spear (Vel) and the Peacock grants the boundless grace of Mayuragirinathar (The Lord of the Peacock Hill). Therefore, to share His divine grace with everyone, we have named our platform ‘Mayuragiri’.
